Carole and Michael Middleton, parents of the Princess of Wales, are reportedly unable to pay the £260,000 fees owed to an insolvency firm.
This comes after their business, Party Pieces, went into administration last year, leaving creditors £2.6million out of pocket.Interpath Advisory (IA), a city firm brought in to handle the insolvency, is reported to be struggling to cover all the costs of recouping the money.
The process has taken longer than expected due to statutory requirements and questions from creditors, according to the reports.
Although the firm has already received fees of £51,437 and expects to get more over time, it's believed they won't be able to cover the total amount of expenses incurred. The Mirror has reached out to IA about these claims, which were first reported in The Times.
