BBC weather presenter Carol Kirkwood has shared that her winter wedding last month was "blissful" and "romantic." The Scottish star tied the knot with her partner, Steve Randall, last month in a cosy ceremony in Buckinghamshire, and later gushed about her special day during an appearance on BBC Breakfast.
She began by saying: "I cannot tell you how fabulous it's been," and couldn't hide her happiness as she further described her wedding day: "You shouldn't really be talking like this about your own wedding, but it was blissful. "It was romantic.
It was absolutely perfect. And I would not change a thing about the day." She added more details saying: "It was very small as well and intimate so you didn't have to worry that Auntie Nellie didn't have a glass of sherry in her hand.
You know, that kind of thing." When presenter Jon Kay cheekily asked: "Does that mean you had all the sherry?", Carol gave a witty reply: "You know me far too well." Sharing gratitude for viewers' good wishes, Carol admitted she felt "quite overwhelmed and very touched".
