Carly Rae Jepsen is making it up to her fans after having to abruptly cancel her New York City concert, just 15 minutes into the show.

The “Call Me Maybe” singer was performing her show at The Rooftop at Pier 17, but a rain and lightning storm caused it to be canceled just a few songs into the event. “Nobody is getting electrocuted tonight!” Carly Rae announced to the crowd while telling everyone that she was being forced to end the performance.

So, when producers Brian Hunt of Believe Entertainment and Marc Liberman from Above Average teamed up to make an ensemble comedy with an very specific kind of audience, they ended up with “Office Race,” Comedy Central’s new film that pokes fun at the perils of being a runner.
