EXCLUSIVE: Carly Hoogendyk has joined Omnipop Talent Group, the New York-headquartered management and production company known for its work with comedic multi-hyphenates, as a talent manager.
She’ll be based out of the company’s West Coast office, there joining partners Bruce Smith and Zack Freedman. Hoogendyk established her knack for identifying rising comedic talent as the editor of the Cramer Comedy Newsletter, an industry digest highlighting emerging comedic work across live, digital, film and animation.
As a manager, she works with stand-ups, writers and actors. Clients joining her at Omnipop include Tallie Medel (Everything Everywhere All at Once), Addison Anderson (Stephen Colbert Presents Tooning Out the News) and Cody Wilkins (Call Me Kat).
Also an independent producer of live comedy, Hoogendyk began her career in digital marketing before going on to serve as comedy booker at Caveat during its first year on NY’s Lower East Side.
