Carlisle Road in Airdrie to have 10mph limit for weekend of road resurfacing

A busy Airdrie road will have a 10mph speed restriction in place this weekend while resurfacing takes place following the installation of a new pedestrian crossing.

Convoy vehicles will be in place on the A73 Carlisle Road throughout Saturday and Sunday, May 11 and 12, with motorists being guided through the section where the work will be carried out.

The restriction will be in place between the main road’s junction with South Biggar Road, and the Terminus Roundabout with Clark Street and Forrest Street.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
