Manchester City loanee Tommy Doyle made an impact on his Cardiff City debut as fans were left impressed despite defeat to Bristol City.
The 20-year-old has joined the South Wales side until the end of the season, looking to help steer them clear of the relegation zone after his first loan spell with Hamburg failed to be beneficial for the young Blue.
On his debut at Ashton Gate, he provided an assist for James Collins just after the half-hour mark. Their lead lasted just two minutes as Chris Martin equalised before firing Nigel Pearson's side ahead on the hour, but Cardiff fans noticed an attribute of Doyle that could pay dividends.
After his disappointing spell in the second tier of German football where he amassed just 150 minutes, he asked to leave due to a lack of playing time.
