UPDATED: Cardi B will not face charges for a microphone-throwing incident in Las Vegas. She was doused with a drink before retaliating. “This afternoon we were notified by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept., that as a result of their investigation, there will be NO charges against Cardi,” said the rapper’s lawyers, Drew Findling, David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld.

They spoke to TMZ today. “On behalf of Cardi, we appreciate the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept’s diligent and prompt resolution of this matter.” Cardi B celebrated the news on Twitter. “Remember …..,” she tweeted Thursday, along with a picture of two Jewish men walking in the street, seemingly referring to her lawyers. EARLIER: Cardi B had a drink thrown at her while performing Saturday at Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas, marking the latest incident in a disturbing trend of performers being pelted while on stage.

She was performing “Bodak Yellow” at Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas when a white, decorated cup with liquid was tossed at her.

Cardi B was stunned, then launched her microphone at the woman who threw the cup. Security swarmed into the area while Cardi B yelled from the stage.
