Cardi B hit with ‘battery’ report after Las Vegas mike throw: cops

“Be Careful”! When a woman tossed a drink at Cardi B onstage Saturday, the “Bodak Yellow” singer threw a microphone at her.The rapper, 30, is now being investigated for battery, according to a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department statement to The Post.The woman who allegedly was hit by the mike at Drai’s Beachclub reported the July 29 incident the next day.As seen in videos from Saturday’s event, Cardi hurled the object toward the audience after she was splashed with liquid from a white cup that was waved in her direction by a concertgoer.Las Vegas police told The Post that an individual stopped by the precinct on July 30 to discuss the incident.“According to the victim, she was attending an event on July 29,” the cops said of the unidentified woman. “During a concert, she was struck by an item that was thrown from the stage.“The incident has been documented on a police report and no arrest or citations have been issued,” the department continued.Police did not mention Cardi B — whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar Cephus — in the statement.

The microphone hit the drink thrower, according to a TMZ report, then bounced off of her and hit another woman. It was not clear which woman reported the debacle to the police.Before the incident went down, Cardi and her DJ reportedly told the audience to douse the singer with water to cool her down in the hot summer weather, according to TMZ.Once the mike was launched into the crowd, her security intervened as the rattled singer looked on, viral videos show.

The Post has reached out to Cardi B’s reps for comment. Cardi joins a growing list of performers whom audience members have thrown things on.Bebe Rexha was struck by a phone during a June 18 concert in New York.
