Car of missing man who vanished overnight found ‘unattended’ at Scots loch

An urgent police search has been launched to find a man reported missing after his car was discovered parked unattended at a loch in the Highlands.

David Bennett was last seen and spoken to at around 9pm on Sunday October 23, in the Scotsburn Court of Tain. But the 60-year-old has failed to make contact since with his black Peugeot 2008 - registration KJ18 VFU - found at Loch Assynt.Officers have released a photograph of Mr Bennett and his motor in a bid to jog people's memories.
