Car involved in shooting at door of Scots home found burnt out as cops probe 'targeted' attack

A car believed to have been involved in a shooting at the door of a home in Stirling has been discovered burnt out.Police launched a probe a firearm was discharged on Randolph Crescent in the city at around 8.10pm on Monday, February 19.

Ambulance crews attended and a 38-year-old man was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow. He was treated for a minor injury then discharged.Officers, who have been studying CCTV footage following the incident, say that a silver or grey Kia Sportage was seen in Randolph Crescent and Glasgow Road around the time of the shooting.Police have now revealed that a Kia Sportage matching the description of the one seen in Randolph Crescent was found burnt out near the A71, Ayr Road, in Shotts, at around 11.10pm that same evening.
