Car destroys bus stop after flipping on its roof in busy city street

A car flipped onto its roof and destroyed a bus shelter in Edinburgh.Police were alerted to the two-vehicle crash at around 4:25pm today, Monday, September 4.Police closed down the road and local traffic was diverted while the vehicle was recovered but reopened around 6:25pm.

The Record understands there were no injuries.An image from the scene shows the red vehicle lying on its roof on the middle of the road, with police officers on the scene.
