East Kilbride takeaway and burst into flames sparking a huge police probe late last night. The motor smashed into the food joint at The Murray Square at 11.40pm on Thursday.Police confirmed that the car caught fire after the crash.Nobody was injured in the incident.Officers said enquiries are ongoing and that CID are currently leading on the investigation to establish the circumstances.
A source told the News : “The car looked like it was a Range Rover. “I was driving past and I seen it was smashed through the peri chicken takeaway shop.“You don’t expect to see that on a Thursday night.“It’s a miracle nobody was hurt, the car was on fire.“I imagine it would have been quite frightening for those involved.”Don't miss a thing from your area -.
