Although the service will be attended by just eight members of his immediate family - his two daughters Lucy and Hannah Ingram-Moore, four grandchildren and his sons-in-law – his relatives have made sure it will be exactly as Captain Tom had planned.
His daughter Lucy Teixeira revealed yesterday the service will be “quite spectacular”. The Second World War-era plane will soar over Captain Sir Tom Moore’s funeral service in honour of the veteran and NHS charity fundraiser.
