We learned some huge things about Marvel‘s latest Captain America movie during a MCU Comic-Con panel on Saturday night (July 27).
Captain America: Brave New World is the first movie to feature Anthony Mackie as Captain America after he took over Chris Evans‘ gig in the Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier in 2021.
During a panel at the San Diego convention, some new footage from the movie was revealed. It addressed some plot points, including the identity of one of the project’s key villains (played by Giancarlo Esposito) and how Marvel is addressing a plot hole that’s been growing for three years.
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige also compared the tone of the movie to a fan-favorite within the MCU! Keep reading to find out more… Kevin compared the movie’s tone to Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which featured a smaller cast and is viewed as one of the franchise’s best solo movies.
