Caoimhin Kelleher would fit the bill in Celtic's search for Joe Hart's eventual replacement. The former Manchester City keeper is out of contract at the end of the current Premiership season and at 37, may have retirment on his mind.
Hart has come in for criticism this week after being caught out with a free-kick for Feyenoord's opener in the Hoops' Champions League opener, and his firs half red card against Livingston.Brendan Rodgers' side coped well with going down to ten men at the Tony Macaroni Arena, but calls for an upgrade on Hart have only gotten louder.
Scott Bain was brought on and will likely deputise while Hart is suspended. Benjamin Siegrist isn;t getting a look in so a new No 1, either in January or next summer, will be top of Rodgers' shopping list.
Irish international Kelleher was suggested as an option for Celtic between the sticks during the last transfer window. Rodgers was the Anfield boss when Kelleher joined the Liverpool's academy back in 2015.
