Cancer charity's new bereavement support service will help guide relatives through the darkness of grief

A sister and a son, who have each experienced the deep and overwhelming heartache of losing a loved one to cancer, have hailed the launch of a new bereavement support service as a lifeline.Beatson Cancer Charity’s vital new service, launched on Wednesday, has adopted a psychological approach to helping families and friends accept the loss of a loved one and develop coping strategies to help them through.It will add to existing services that support bereaved people whose loved ones received cancer treatment at The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre or other West of Scotland hospitals.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

She went on to complete her pre-registration training at the Overtown Pharmacy in Wishaw.Determined to ensure Eilidh’s memory
