A camper went through the ultimate horror camping story when they felt something creeping inside their sleeping bag, only for a shocking surprise after turning on the light.
A National Park adventure left the visitor truly spooked after they woke to find their tent engulfed by hoards of dangling bugs hanging in a horror move-like scene.
Alaska's Lake Clark National Park spooked out their Facebook followers with the tale straight from most people's nightmares, and said: "Snuggled into their warm sleeping bag, the tired explorer nods off to dreamland..." followed by the terrifying awakening to being swarmed by the forest's crawlies, bringing a nightmare to life.
Hordes of harvestmen, also known as daddy longlegs to those in the UK, covered the tent from top to bottom. Initially, and in the dim lighting, it seemed like just a few bugs wanting a cosy spot, but daylight revealed a much more gruesome scene.The tent was blanketed with thousands of squirming harvestmen.
