Camilla had started to understand Princess Diana's "discontent" with royal life before she married Prince Charles back in 2005, an author has claimed.Tina Brown, who is the former editor of Vanity Fair, said in her book The Palace Papers that the Duchess of Cornwall had a difficult time with Charles' "regimented" lifestyle.

In an excerpt published by The Telegraph, the royal expert explained: "The Prince’s routine was relentless. He never ate lunch, and breakfasted on the same birdseed and peeled fruit every morning. "Punctuality had never been Camilla’s strong suit, but Charles expected her to be ready for engagements at his own regimented pace.
