Royals and royal fans have been wishing the Queen a happy birthday with Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Prince and Princess of Wales, leading the way.
On their official Instagram account the Prince and Princess shared a photo of Camilla in the royal box at Wimbledon, to which they added the text: "Happy birthday to her Majesty the Queen." And the official Twitter and Instagram accounts for the Royal Family, posted: "Wishing Her Majesty The Queen a very Happy Birthday today!" This Morning regular and royal biographer Gyles Brandreth, who has known Camilla since they were both teenagers, wrote: "It’s Queen Camilla’s birthday! "If you don’t already know about it, today’s the day to visit The Queen’s Reading Room where Her Majesty celebrates everything to do with books & the joy (& value) of reading." He then shared a link to the Reading Room website.
And royal commentator Dickie Arbiter tweeted: "A very happy happy 76th birthday to Queen Camilla - born this day in 1947" followed by a string of celebratory emojis.
