Ange Postecoglou was thrilled to land his three top targets in time to hit the ground running on the first day back in training after the winter break.

But the Celtic boss got just as big a kick out of seeing a familiar face back in business at Lennoxtown. Postecoglou revealed star man Jota has resumed full training following his hamstring trouble before the winter shutdown and the Portuguese ace is ready to play a part as the Premiership gets back up and running next week.

Talks are continuing in the background with the on loan Benfica attacker over a permanent move in the summer.Record Sport revealed the parties are edging closer to sealing the deal for the fans favourite but Postecoglou is delighted to have him back on board in the short term.He said: “It’s great to see him back out there.

He’s has a great start to his career here with the football club and it was obviously disappointing to miss him for a fair chunk of time.“But he’s worked hard in rehab and has come back looking really good.“He’s keen to get back involved himself and we’ll try that over the next couple of weeks at some point.“But it’s great to have him back with the group.”Postecoglou is pretty relaxed about the long term situation with Jota.
