A Cambuslang cycling group gifted 18 bikes to youngsters this weekend as part of a Scottish Government bike initiative.Clyde Cycle Park reached a milestone this week in delivering Scottish Cycling’s Rock Up & Ride programme, in which 40 local children have now benefited from the five-week course to give young people the opportunity to cycle – and to get a bike at the end of the course.The aim of the free programme, available to kids aged seven to 14, is to enthuse young people to get involved in cycling, especially children who would otherwise not get the opportunity to cycle.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
