Callum McGregor has signed a new five-year deal keeping him at Celtic until 2028. He comes as the third new deal since Brendan Rodgers' arrival with Kyogo and Daizen Maeda penning extensions to kick off the post Ange era in style.
Kyogo's initial contract ran until 2025, though he has signed a new two-year extension in a bid to keep the good times rolling under Rodgers and co after winning Celtic's Player of the Year award last season with 34 goals in 50 games.
Maeda then signed a new contract on Thursday afternoon which will also see him remain in Glasgow until 2027 at the latest, adding double trouble to the Japanese duo as they keep the mainstay of one of the best attacking teams across the European top divisions.
And now fans have been treated to even better news with McGregor committing himself to the Celtic cause. He said: It’s amazing to extend my stay at the club.
