Joe Otterson TV ReporterThe Fox mutli-cam comedy “Call Me Kat” has found its Season 2 showrunner in Alissa Neubauer, Variety has learned.Neubauer takes over running the comedy series from Darlene Hunt, who stepped down from running the show at the end of its first season.
Hunt also developed the show for American television, as it is based on the BBC Studios’ format “Miranda.”Neubauer is a veteran of the Chuck Lorre camp, having worked on the super-producer’s hit shows “Mom” and “Two and a Half Men.” She started out as a script coordinator on the latter show before rising to the rank of co-producer.
She most recently served as a co-executive producer on “Mom,” which ended its run on CBS after eight seasons back in May. Mayim Bialik stars.
