Katcy Stephan CAA has hired Yasmin McDonald as an agent in its Books department, based out of the agency’s London office. McDonald joins CAA following an 11 year-tenure at United Agents, where she was a Partner and led the Book to Screen department.
She was previously an agent at AP Watt Ltd. In her new role at CAA, McDonald will focus on identifying books and other literary IP suitable for adaptation to screen and stage both from within the agency and from external sources across the U.K.
and Europe. McDonald will continue to represent respected authors, illustrators, screenwriters and directors, including “The Bee Sting” author Paul Murray, “Chicken Run 2: Dawn of the Nugget” writer John O’Farrell, “The New Wife” author JP Delaney, graphic novelist and cartoonist Tom Gauld and “Lies We Tell” director Lisa Mulcahy.
