Buying Beverly Hills fans have been left divided after Netflix decided to cancel the real-estate show after two series. The heartbreaking news comes after the second season premiered on the streaming platform in March this year.
Sources have said the cancellation is to do with the viewing numbers versus the cost of production, according to Deadline. The show follows Mauricio Umansky and his team at The Agency as they navigate selling real estate in Beverly Hills as well as friendships, romance and plenty of drama between the cast. The second season focused on the real estate agents' dismay at Mauricio bringing in another one of his daughters to the company, Sophia Umansky.
Fans took to Reddit to share their reactions as one person said: "NGL, it was insufferable to watch nepo babies swan around in designer clothes while they pretend to work." Another Reddit user expressed: "Wait, am I crazy that I didn’t hate the show and enjoyed watching this?
I was looking forward to more." Somebody else agreed as they commented: "Same here! I really liked it. I wonder if there's any chance they get picked up by another network?".
