Dalbeattie Running Club had a busy February with lots of individual and club successes at various events. The month began with a get together in the town for a meal at The Seahorse.
This went down very well and highlighted how close knit the members of the club were. They enjoyed a great evening and a lovely meal.
The first race of the month was the Carlisle X 10km, in which Kim, Barry, Mark, Po Yee, Kirsty and Lewis gained PBs galore, including a tremendous sub 40 minute run by Lewis.
The penultimate race of the winter league was next up and this proved to be a very popular event. The course was approximately 5km on forest trails and was quite challenging, with some tough hills en route.
