Bury power cut sees hundreds of homes and businesses without electricity - full list of postcodes affected

Hundreds of homes and businesses have been left without electricity after a huge power cut in Bury. According to Electricity North West, at least 808 properties have been hit by the power cut.

The outage was first reported at around 9.50am. Engineers are on the way to the scene near the Blackbridge and Unsworth areas.

Power is expected to be restored by around 12.50pm. In a tweet, Electricity North West said: "We are aware of a #POWERCUT affecting the #BURY area.

We have dispatched a team to investigate the issue. If you require any assistance please call DM us through one of our social media channels."
