Due to planned engineering works there will be no Metrolink service operating on parts of the Bury line between Saturday 13 and Friday 19 August.

As a result of these works, no services will operate between Bury and Whitefield from Saturday 13 to Tuesday 16 August. Then, from Wednesday 17 until the end of service on Friday 19 August, no services will operate between Bury and Queens Road.

During the closure, a replacement bus service will operate to cover the affected stops. The works are part of a planned essential maintenance programme which will see approximately 4,400 metres of worn tram tracks being replaced between the Bury and Radcliffe tram stops, in addition to the renewal of parts of the overhead line tensioning system.
