Burglars Attempt Break-In Nearby Prince William & Kate Middleton's Windsor Castle Home
justjared.comThere is now an investigation in an attempted break-in near Prince William and Princess Kate (AKA Kate Middleton) at a farm on the Windsor Castle property.
Police are investigating the incident, which reportedly took place while the royal couple were nearby. According to multiple outlets, two men scaled a six-foot fence during the night of October 13 and used a stolen truck to crash through a security gate at Shaw Farm, one of the working farms on the Windsor Castle grounds, via Us Weekly.
The gate, which was destroyed, is frequently used by William and Kate, and is closest to their Adelaide Cottage home.
The royal couple are believed to have been home with their children — Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6 — at the time of the attempted break-in, while King Charles III and Queen Camilla were away on travels to Scotland and India respectively.
