Reggae star Bunny Wailer has died aged 73. He found fame as an original member of The Wailers with his childhood friend and star Bob Marley.
Their hits Simmer Down and Stir It Up gained international recognition and global fame. His manager Maxine Stowe and Jamaica's Culture Minister Olivia Grange confirmed the news of Bunny's death.
The cause of his death has not been made public yet. Wailer had been in hospital for months after he had a stroke in July last year.
The musician first rocketed to fame as a member on The Wailers. But the singer chased the dreams of going solo and left the band in 1974.
