9News reports the infected employee was last spotted on site on July 1 and remains in self-isolation. The staff member was asymptomatic and undertook mandatory temperature checks during all of their shifts, however he has since tested positive.
Fellow co-workers whom came into close proximity with the man have been asked to self-isolate and will undergo COVID-19 testing, too.
This news comes after the state of Victoria broken its record for the most coronavirus cases ever recorded, with 127 new cases overnight.
