Bullseye fans say reboot has 'ruined' original as famous end game format replaced

Alan Carr's Epic Gameshow took on 80's classic Bullseye, formerly hosted by Jim Bowen, on Saturday night. While some viewers enjoyed it and found it nostalgic, others were left fuming with a major change to the show's format.

The famous final round and end game was very different to the original, with some viewers claiming the reboot "ruined" the show.

In the original, the final two contestants took it in turns to launch a dart at the numbered, giant dartboard in a bid to win prizes.

They famously had to aim for the red spaces or the bullseye, and keep off the black spaces. Each red space they correctly landed on won them a prize - but this wasn't the last round.
