'Building the Band': Liam Payne's Upcoming Netflix Show Status Update After His Passing

The streamer greenlit the music competition series in May, and Deadline reports that filming has wrapped on the show. Keep reading to find out more… It is not clear when Netflix was planning to premiere Building the Band, but most shows for the streamer go into post-production for around three to six months.
Building the Band followed 50 singers competing for a chance to form their own band without seeing each other. They had to connect via musical compatibility and chemistry before finally meeting. Liam served as a mentor alongside Nicole Scherzinger and Kelly Rowland, with AJ McLeanon hosting duties.
The series led up to three live shows that were filmed in late August in front of an audience at Aviva Studios in Manchester, England.
