ok.co.ukBucks Fizz star Jay Aston’s daughter Josie is "still in the red zone” following her terrifying bacterial meningitis ordeal.The 18 year old’s health update was given as she appeared with mum Jay, 60, on Lorraine to discuss her progress since leaving intensive care after her organs began to fail in April.
Jay had rushed Josie to King’s College hospital after regarding “three dots on her arm” as a possible sign of meningitis, which quickly advanced into a black-spotted rash an hour after arriving, where she was diagnosed and induced into a coma.
Josie’s kidneys are still not working properly as Jay told Lorraine Kelly: "Well her kidneys aren't right yet.The last blood test that she had they were functioning at just 12%.
