BTS Members Renew Contracts With Big Hit Music

All seven members of Korean singing sensations BTS have signed new contracts with Big Hit Music, a label operated by HYBE Corporation.

In a statement announcing the deals, the group promised to “stay together in 2025 and beyond.” Big Hit Music noted in a release, “The board of BigHit Music all agreed to renew the exclusive contracts of BTS members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.” BTS members Jin and J-Hope are presently fulfilling their mandatory South Korean military duties, while Suga is preparing to join them in his military service this Friday.

This latest renewal marks the second time the BTS members have extended their contracts with Big Hit. The group originally debuted in June 2013, and opted to renew their contracts five years later in October 2018.

No specifics on the deal in length or money were revealed. The K-pop world’s attention now focuses on BLACKPINK, which recently wrapped its “Born Pink” world tour that saw several U.S.
