Manchester United's captain, Bruno Fernandes, has wished Donny van de Beek good luck after the Dutchman sealed a January transfer window loan switch to Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt.

Van de Beek, 26, had a tough time in the Premier League since joining United from Ajax for £40million in 2020. Now, he's off to Eintracht Frankfurt on loan to get his career back on track.

Eintracht Frankfurt have paid a small loan fee to United and are taking care of most of Van de Beek's weekly wages of £125,000.

The German club has the option to buy the Dutch midfielder for €11million (£9.55m), with an additional €3m (£2.6m) in add-ons.
