What a week it’s been for Anthony Elanga, with the teenager finding himself in the thick of the action for Manchester United.
The 19-year-old made his second senior start in the space of five days against Brentford on Wednesday, and he made his time in the side count as he scored the opener in United’s 3-1 win in London.
Elanga showed good composure to cushion Fred’s cross into the penalty area before heading the ball past Jonas Lossl for his second senior goal for the club.
It was a goal that saw the Swedish teenager repay the faith shown in him by interim manager Ralf Rangnick this season, having been handed six appearances since the German’s arrival at Old Trafford in December.
