Bruno Fernandes has hit back at ridiculous claims he 'ignored' Andre Onana during Manchester United's pre-season friendly defeat to Real Madrid on Thursday.

Onana played his first game in a United shirt at the NRG Stadium in Houston, following his £47.72million move from Inter Milan last week.

Madrid won the match 2-0 thanks to goals from Jude Bellingham and Joselu. Shortly after the full-time whistle blew, a video emerged on Instagram of the Fernandes walking past Onana after being told some instructions before a Madrid corner.

Some people seemed to see it as a problem with accusations he was blanking his new goalkeeper.
