Bruce Springsteen Praises Jeremy Allen White’s Performance In ‘Deliver Me From Nowhere’ Biopic

As the living subject of the next highly-anticipated musical biopic, Bruce Springsteen is applauding his onscreen counterpart’s performance.

Although he admitted it was “a little [weird] at first” seeing Jeremy Allen White play him in writer/director Scott Cooper‘s Deliver Me from Nowhere, ‘The Boss’ had nothing but praise for the 2x Golden Globe winner’s portrayal. “But you get over that pretty quick,” he said on SiriusXM’s E Street Radio of the weird on-set experience. “And Jeremy is such a terrific actor that you just fall right into it.

He’s got an interpretation of me that I think the fans will deeply recognize.
