Brooke Vincent had a two-word word message for fans as she prepares for her first major acting role since leaving Coronation Street.

The actress is probably best known for having grown up on screen playing Sophie Webster in the ITV soap. However, years on from leaving the cobbles, and a stint back on the radio covering for Gemma Atkinson's maternity leave on Hits Radio, the start of Brooke's next big gig is fast approaching and she'll be making her stage debut.

It was revealed back in November that the 31-year-old will be starring in the late Kay Mellor’s final stage play, The Syndicate, which will tour the UK this year and includes a stop at The Lowry. It is being directed by Kay’s daughter and former Emmerdale actress Gaynor Faye in her late mum's name. Brooke, who appeared in Corrie from 2004 to 2019 before welcoming her two sons into the world with footballer fiance Kean Bryan, will play Amy, the sister-in-law of supermarket assistant Jamie, who will be played by The Wanted's Max George in his first stage role.
