Brooke Vincent joked she had 'raised clowns' as she was seen alongside her sons following the end of her latest job. The actress returned to the acting world for the first time since she left Coronation Street in 2019.
But rather than being on screen, Brooke made her stage debut by starring in the late Kay Mellor’s final stage play. Based on the BBC One show of the same name, the play will told the story of five supermarket workers whose lottery syndicate numbers come in just as their jobs and livelihoods are under threat.
It was directed by Kay’s daughter and former Emmerdale actress Gaynor Faye in her late mum's name and Brooke is playing Amy, the sister-in-law of supermarket assistant Jamie, who was played by Gaynor's son Oliver Anthony in his theatrical debut. Taking to Instagram, the 31-year-old shared a snap of herself in costume and shared a candid message. She wrote alongside the snap: "Tonight I closed Kay Mellors @syndicatetheplay on our final show!
