mother of a toddler who suffered two broken legs in an alleged attack was reported to police and social services over her treatment of the child, a court has heard.The woman's own mother - the tot's grandmother - reported her to social services, while a neighbour called in cops.The youngster, who can't be named for legal reasons, was found to have a broken right tibia, and a spiral fracture to her left femur.The injuries were discovered by medics at A&E, after she'd been looked after by Connor Murray, 21, in Tarbolton, Ayrshire, in October 2018.Murray is currently on trial at Ayr Sheriff Court charged with causing the injuries to the tot by assaulting her "by means unknown" when she was 22-months-old.Murray denies assaulting the youngster.
