Lupita Nyong’o, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Eva Longoria, Ariana DeBose, and so many more attended the opening event on Wednesday (March 19) at the Schoenfeld Theatre in New York City.

A world-class Afro-Cuban band is joined by a sensational cast in this unforgettable tale of survival, second chances, and the extraordinary power of music. Lin‘s father Luis Miranda is one of the show’s producers, alongside Orin Wolf, John Styles, and Tony winners LaChanze and John Leguizamo, who were all at the opening. Lupita was at the event to support her childhood friend Saheem Ali, who is the director of the new musical.
