Jason Laks, who has been serving as The Broadway League’s Interim President since Charlotte St. Martin retired from the organization last February, has been appointed the organization’s new president.
The League, the national trade association for theater owners, producers, presenters and general managers, has announced the appointment of Laks as its new President following what the organization described as an extensive national search.
In a statement, Kristin Caskey, Chair of The Broadway League’s Board of Governors, said, “Over the past 10 months, we have embarked on a thoughtful and thorough process around this very important decision.
After a national search and extensive interview process, we believe Jason is the right leader for the League at this critical time in our industry.
