The UK is set to honour the 'Greatest Generation' with an extra bank holiday, celebrating 80 years since the end of WWII. Next year's memorable events are set to pack a four-day extravaganza, reports suggest.
VE Day on 8 May marked Germany's unconditional surrender in 1945, and VJ Day on 15 August commemorated Japan’s surrender, effectively ending the war.
Although no specific summer weekend has been picked for the four-day event, officials are expected to announce the date soon.
