The Baby One More Time singer, 39, was entered into a legally mandated conservatorship - also known as a legal guardianship - in 2008, which is lead by her father Jamie, giving him control of her finances and personal affairs.
She recently asked a court for Jamie to be removed from the conservatorship, with her lawyers saying she is "afraid" of her dad.
