The firm appointed as co-conservator of Britney Spear’s estate has asked to resign after the singer made an impassioned plea to the court last week.
Bessemer Trust has looked after the mum-of-two financial concerns alongside her father Jamie Spears since November but has now asked the court in her case to be allowed to step back from the appointment.
It cited ‘changed circumstances ‘ as the reason for its withdrawal adding that the singer had made it clear that she wanted the conservatorship to end and that the company respected that.
