Britney's bodyguard says of shock split: "I'm surprised they didn't break-up sooner"

After just 14 months of marriage, Sam confirmed the news in a statement, saying they’ve decided to “end their journey together”.
But sources close to the pop star, 41, have told us that the writing has been on the wall for some time. Speaking exclusively to OK!, Britney’s former bodyguard Fernando Flores said, “In my opinion, the relationship was never going to last.The only surprise is that they didn’t break up sooner.” Fernando claims the former couple, who had been together for six years, weren’t quite ready for marriage – and that there had been problems brewing in their relationship. “I think they clearly rushed into getting married, which is another pattern that is repeating,” he said. “When Britney falls in love, I think she always wants to make that person her husband.
She doesn’t always think it through.” He claimed, “Sam was rarely there, he hasn’t been living with her at the house for months.
