A British tourist has been killed in a horror hit-and-run motorcycle crash in Thailand. Lee Farrell, 43, from Taunton, Somerset, had been eating with friends at a restaurant in Nakhon Ratchasima province on Wednesday night.
He rode home alone before being hit by a truck which fled the scene - leaving Lee to bleed to death on the ground. A shocked local noticed the man sprawled face-down on the ground in a pool of blood shortly before midnight.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and performed CPR but they were unable to revive Lee and he was pronounced dead. Pictures show how Lee's damaged motorcycle was toppled over on the ground a few feet from him.
