'Britain's most tattooed man' claims he was rejected from a nightclub over his extreme look. Matthew Whelen, 42, alleges he was turned away from a venue over his appearance, which has taken 1,500 hours to create.

The 42-year-old says he has spent thousands of pounds getting his whole body covered in tattoos, reports the Daily Star. He is not done either and is still set for blackout work to be done on his left arm next month.Despite enjoying his own unique look, Matthew says he is is judged everywhere he goes for his extreme appearance.

In an interview on LBC, King Body Art compared his situation to that of extremely tattooed mum, Melissa Sloan.She recently made headlines after being banned from her child's nativity show because of her appearance.

He said: "I had similar issues to what Melissa had, not in the school plays, but where I have gone to venues. "I'm going back two and a half years when I went to Sydney, Australia.
